About the Authors
Allard E. Dembe, Sc.D. is Associate Professor and Chair, Division of Health Services Management & Policy, and Director, Center for Health Outcomes, Evaluation & Policy Studies, The Ohio State University of Public Health.

Sharon Fox, Ph. D. is currently the Executive Director of the Wausau Health Foundation, a public non-profit organization in Wausau, Wisconsin. Previously, she served as co-deputy director of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Workers' Compensation Health Initiative and is an affiliated research scientist at the University of Massachusetts Center for Health Policy and Research.

Jay S. Himmelstein, M.D., M.P.H. is Assistant Chancellor for Health Policy at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and is Director of the UMass Center for Health Policy and Research. He has served as National Program Director of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Workers' Compensation Health Initiative since its inception in 1995.
